The Master Series, Oxford 2024.

If you had told me a few years ago, when I studied at Chester the Masters in Psychological Trauma, that I would be a speaker alongside all of the people whose books we were recommended and now line my bookshelves, whose research we analysed, I would have thought you were from another planet!

The idea that I would be on a panel sat next to Dr Stephen Porges (who researched and came up with the Polyvagal Theory!) and Dr Rangan Chatterjee, together with the brilliant Dr Pratima Singh and Dr Aimie Apigian beyond anything I could have imagined…

And yet here I am at the Masters Events in Oxford a few days ago. We had a great discussion about the future of mental health, and of course I talked about the importance of democratising psychoeducation, creating a trauma-informed world and the crucial role of lifestyle medicine.
