Incredibly privileged to have met with a consortium of distinguished international healthcare experts last week and have the opportunity to talk about Trauma!

I presented the amazing results we have from the ConnectionWorks programme - which I designed and ran with colleagues from WellBN in Brighton.

This groundbreaking, innovative programme for people with Complex PTSD combined psycho-education, lifestyle medicine and body work in a 12 month container to heal trauma.

And we have got great results - huge reductions in A&E attendance and outpatient appointments…

The intention is for this project to be replicated across the country - and hopefully has inspired international colleagues now too…fingers crossed we can get funding and change more lives.

There were even 3 delegates from Brazil, who were rather surprised when I said I had just returned from Salvador and played in the Carnaval…!
